Nestled among the foothills of the Shivalik ranges,the picturesque Himalayan Hideaway is the ultimate setting for a tranquil getaway, far from the stress and strains of city life. Sprawled over an acre of magnificent mountainside, approx 150mtrs above the sacred river Ganga, the lodge melds into the lush countryside.
Its nine comfortably furnished rooms are large, spacious and airy and offer breathtaking views of the splendid surroundings. Our service is efficient and our hospitality warm, yet mindful of your privacy. Himalayan Hideaway offers a serene setting while you relax in the country cottage feel of the spacious yet cozy rooms with the large bathrooms.
Enjoy your favourite morning brew as you watch the countryside awaken with birdsong. If you are lucky you could catch sight of a barking deer or jungle fowl in the under brush. You could try the outdoors for some thrilling kayaking and rafting adventures on the Ganga, with our sister concern the Himalayan River Runners. Our experts can take you on hikes and gentle walks in the surrounding hills or for some rock climbing on nearby challenging rock faces.
Contact the help desk if you are interested in bird watching excursions or nature walks. You could even try angling for a more relaxing pastime. Catch up on your favourite TV program in the comfortable, yet elegantly furnished lounge.
FACILITIES
The Lodge has 4 Ganga View, 4 Forest View rooms, 1 standalone room and 1 Duplex room. All rooms are air-conditioned and have attached bathrooms with 24 hours hot and cold running water. All rooms have balcony sit-outs and provision for heating.
