Clouds End Villa was built during the British period and has 10 rooms to rent. This glorious old fashioned bungalow has an annexe which has views of the Kangra Valley below. There are charming walk through the adjoining forests to Macleodganj, where you can visit the headquarters of H.H. the Dalai Lama.
At Cloud End Villa you feel you are on a holiday and you are served authentic local delicacies prepared by the master Chef whose family has been with the Raja for Generations.
During your holiday you can just relax or go trekking, fishing, boating or sightseeing of forts and temples (there are over 300 temples in the kangra District. Kangra is also known as the "Valley of Gods" So through Clouds End Villa enjoy the pleasures the Kangra valley has to offer).

Walking up from Clouds End Villa you will enter the gate to Kangchen Kishyong, the administrative office of the Tibetan government-in-exile. Visit the Tibetan Library and Archives, the museum and the picturesque Nechung monastery with a stunning view on the mountains.
Next stop is the Tibetan Medical and Astrological Institute, Men Tsee Khang with a museum on Tibetan herbal medicines, a shop that sells books on medicinal plants, incense, ointments, beauty creams and herbal teas.
Follow the tour by foot or take a taxi to Namgyal monastery and Tsuklakhang the residence and temple of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, who with his infinite wisdom and compassion guides the Tibetan people, as their spiritual and worldly leader.
Walk upstairs to the main temple with the giant Buddha statue behind the throne, light a butter lamp and circumambulate the Kalachakra temple while turning the prayer wheels.
In the afternoon the monks gather in the courtyard to test their knowledge of the Buddhist philosophy texts. Fiery debating in Tibetan language.
